Demi Gene Moore (born November 11, 1962) is an American actress and producer. Born in Roswell, New Mexico, Moore's father left the family before her birth. She first gained recognition in the daytime television soap opera General Hospital (1981-1983).
Film Career
Moore made her film debut in 1981's Choices. She gained prominence with her starring role in St. Elmo's Fire (1985), one of the iconic teen-oriented films of the 1980s. Moore continued to star in successful films throughout the decade, including Ghost (1990), A Few Good Men (1992), and Indecent Proposal (1993).
Personal Life
Moore has been married three times: to musician Freddy Moore (1980-1985), actor Bruce Willis (1987-2000), and actor Ashton Kutcher (2005-2013). She has three daughters with Willis and has a close relationship with her two stepchildren from Kutcher's previous marriage.
