Actress Susan Buckner, best known for her role in 'Grease,' has died at 72
Buckner played the role of Patty Simcox, a cheerleader at Rydell High School, in the 1978 musical.
Buckner, who was born in Washington, D.C., rose to fame through her role in the hit movie Grease. She also appeared in several other films and television shows such as "The Love Boat" and "Fantasy Island."
Buckner died May 8, 2024, after battling cancer. She was 72 years old. In a statement about her passing, her family described her as a "bright light in this world."
