Gilbert Arenas, born January 6, 1982, is a former American professional basketball player. He attended Grant High School in the Valley, Los Angeles.
NBA Stats and Highlights
Arenas played 12 seasons in the NBA, primarily with the Washington Wizards. He was a three-time NBA All-Star and was known for his exceptional ball-handling skills and three-point shooting.
In 2006-07, Arenas had a breakout season, averaging 28.4 points and 6.1 assists per game. He led the Wizards to a franchise-record 48 wins that season.
Arenas' career was derailed by a gun possession scandal in 2009. He was suspended for the rest of the season and traded to the Orlando Magic the following year.
