Early Life and Career

Novak Đoković was born on May 22, 1987, in Belgrade, Serbia. He began playing tennis at the age of four and quickly rose through the junior ranks, winning the Wimbledon and US Open junior titles in 2005.

Professional Career

Đoković turned professional in 2003 and has since established himself as one of the greatest tennis players of all time. He has won 23 Grand Slam men's singles titles, including two Wimbledon titles (2014, 2022), nine Australian Open titles (2008-2012, 2014-2016, 2019-2020, 2023), three US Open titles (2011, 2015, 2018), and six French Open titles (2016, 2018-2021, 2023).

Historic Achievement at 2024 Roland Garros

In 2024, Đoković etched his name in tennis history once again at the Roland Garros tournament. With a hard-fought 6-1 5-7 3-6 7-5 6-3 victory over Francisco Cerundolo in the fourth round, he extended his remarkable record at the French Open and became the first player in the Open Era to win all four Grand Slams twice.

Wimbledon Final 2022

In the 2022 Wimbledon final, Đoković faced Carlos Alcaraz, one of the rising stars of tennis. Despite being the favorite, Đoković lost to Alcaraz in a thrilling straight-set match (6-2 6-2 7-6). This defeat marked Novak's second straight loss in a Wimbledon final, the first being to Andy Murray in 2013.
