Curry Leads the Way in Team USA Victory
Stephen Curry led the way for Team USA with 24 points in their 105-79 victory over Serbia in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday afternoon. The Golden State Warriors star was relatively quiet offensively, but he made up for it with his defense and playmaking.
Other young stars also shined for Team USA, including Jayson Tatum (20 points), Donovan Mitchell (18 points), and Bam Adebayo (12 points, 10 rebounds). The team shot 52.1% from the field and held Serbia to just 37.5% shooting.
Team USA will now head to Las Vegas for their next two exhibition games, against Spain and Australia. The team will then travel to Tokyo for the 2020 Olympics, where they will be looking to win their fourth consecutive gold medal.
